To provide you with even better support and greater clarity about our processes, we have added a number of important definitions and processes to our knowledge base. These include explanations of our different types of releases, such as Feature Updates, Quality Updates and Hotfixes >

Feature Update - MSR - Juni 2026

With this release we introduce a new way to manage your candidates. With List Views you can manage candidates in an action-oriented way via configurable lists in MSR — think "Top candidates this week" or "Available candidates". These lists are accessible to users via the homepage.

With this new functionality, fields on the MSR portal can be made dynamically visible based on responses or values of other fields within the same portal controller. This makes filling in forms clearer and more relevant for candidates and portal users.

The functionality aligns with the existing logic within MSF and makes it possible to configure complex forms in a more user-friendly way without customisation. Administrators can use this to configure flexible dependencies between fields, so that users only see the information that is relevant to their situation.

With this extension of the DataChecker integration, the processing of residence permits, work permits and transaction reports is further improved. This makes it easier for organisations to verify whether candidates are entitled to work, and documents can be used more effectively within checklists and automations.

The synchronisation from MSR to MSF is an essential part of the platform, but occasionally failed due to data quality issues that could have been caught at the point of entry. Examples include a phone number containing letters, a missing invoice email address or an end date that falls before the start date.

With this feature, validations are added in MSR. When a user saves data that cannot be synchronised, they immediately receive a clear error message. This resolves the issue at the source — rather than only discovering it when a synchronisation fails.

In this release, preparations have been made to support OData version 2.0. All customers will eventually be migrated to this version. In addition, this is required for customers using BC Online version BC28.

Once OData version 2.0 is activated, the outgoing message in the integration notifications will only contain the changes relative to the data in MSF. The integration will otherwise continue to work in exactly the same way.

The new version will always be activated in consultation with the customer. Customers who will soon be starting the migration process to BC Online will be contacted in due course. Customers who are already using BC Online or plan to do so in the near future will receive further information at a later stage.

When adding an allowance to a synchronised placement, an automatism could automatically be populated in MSF from the work type, even though this automatism had not been configured in MSR. This resulted in a different value in MSF than expected from MSR.

From now on, when creating an allowance from MSR, no automatism will be carried over from MSF if it has not been configured in MSR. As a result, the automatism fields will remain empty if no automatism has been set up in MSR.

Please note: from now on, automatisms for allowances must be configured in MSR. Please transfer any automatisms for allowances that are currently only set up in MSF.

Feature Update - MSR - April 2026

The April release is full of updates and improvements. Below is a selection of the features; you can view the full release notes via de Feature Kennisbank.

With this release, WhatsApp is now generally available for all customers.

Previously, we supported individual WhatsApp numbers linked to users and one central number linked to the organization. Now you can also assign a WhatsApp number per team. This is especially useful for organizations with multiple branches or specialized teams.

Following the improvements introduced in the previous release, we have further enhanced the Skill Matrix component.

Selected skills are now easier to recognize when adding new ones. A checkbox clearly indicates which skills are already selected. In addition, the Save and Cancel buttons now remain visible while scrolling, which is especially helpful when working with long lists of skills.

We have added additional configuration options to Appointment Planning.

You can now set default values per Appointment Type Setup, allowing predefined choices when users schedule appointments using the Appointment Planning Wizard. We also added support for 30-minute scheduling intervals.

This release introduces new Flow Components.

You can now navigate directly to newly created records within the same screen flow. We also added a component to calculate distance using the new Google Maps Routes API.

Feature Update - MSR - Februari 2026

The February release is full of updates and improvements. Below is a selection of the features; you can view the full release notes via de Feature Kennisbank.

The Skills board is widely used for managing and assigning skills within persons, vacancies, and accounts. To improve daily use, several optimizations have been implemented focusing on the order, interaction, and searching of skills.
The new functionality provides a clearer process, an improved user experience, and prevents multiple candidates from reserving the same time slots.
With this improvement, the existing Collective Agreement component has been extended so that available hirer collective agreements are determined based on the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number of the account.

With this new functionality, it becomes possible to define a deviating number of waiting days per absence record and send this information to MSF.
Please note: this functionality is available exclusively via the OData interface.
