Feature explanation
The WhatsApp utility bar now features a permanent counter that displays the number of active conversations based on your organization's configuration. For users using the Individual approach, the counter continues to show the number of unread conversations assigned specifically to them, maintaining the familiar workflow.
For teams using the Team or Central approaches, the logic has been enhanced to show the total number of unclosed conversations in the shared inbox. This means that as long as a conversation remains open, it will be reflected in the counter, providing a clear indicator of pending work. The counter updates in near-real-time, ensuring that the arrival of new messages or the closing of a conversation is immediately visible without needing to open the WhatsApp panel.
