Automatically Expire Appointment Requests

Introduction
Appointment requests that were not acted upon by a candidate previously remained valid indefinitely. This update allows appointment requests to be automatically set to expired after a configurable number of days. In addition, the handling of cancelled and expired appointment requests via WhatsApp and the portal has been improved.

Feature explanation
A new setting has been added to the appointment request settings: "Disable Invitation Link After Days". This allows you to configure after how many days an appointment request that is still in the status New or Invited is automatically set to the new status Expired. No cancellation email is sent for this status change. This setting works independently of the existing reminder settings; if those are empty, the expiry functionality still works correctly.
When a candidate opens a cancelled or expired appointment request on the portal, a clear message is now displayed on the page itself, rather than a technical error message. For a cancelled request, "The Appointment Request has been cancelled" is shown; for an expired request, "The Appointment Request has expired" is displayed.
When making an appointment via WhatsApp, the status of the appointment request is now also taken into account. When a candidate wants to make an appointment for a request that has been cancelled internally or has since expired, the candidate receives an appropriate message in their own language, rather than being offered the option to choose a date.
In addition, the location description for phone and video appointments has been improved: when Phone, Skype or MS Teams meeting is selected as the location, a clear description is automatically shown, such as "The appointment will be conducted via Microsoft Teams".
Set-up / Implementation time
Upon installation of this release, the new "Disable Invitation Link After Days" setting is automatically set to 14 days. You can adjust this value in the appointment request settings.
