Extended configuration for appointment requests

More control over calendar settings and scheduling logic when creating appointment requests. MSR-1181 | 2026-02

Scheduling appointments in Mysolution previously often required manual input of various parameters in the wizard or via flows.

With this improvement, the Appointment Type setting has been extended so that key parameters can be configured in advance. This enables appointments to be scheduled more consistently and with less manual input.

This feature is relevant for administrators and users who work with appointment requests and scheduling functionality within Mysolution.

In particular, organizations that use appointment scheduling via the wizard or flows benefit from greater control and standardization.

Feature explanation

The Appointment Type setting has been extended with additional configuration options. This allows the behavior of appointment requests to be defined in advance.

The following settings have been added:

  • Calendar type (user calendar or team calendar)

  • Organizer of the appointment

  • Team calendar to be used

  • Scheduling method (available time or reserved time)

  • Availability for WhatsApp

  • Scheduling in fixed intervals of 30 minutes

When these settings are configured for an Appointment Type, they are automatically applied when creating an appointment request via the wizard. Users can no longer modify these fields in the wizard.

Some settings depend on each other. Invalid combinations are not allowed and will trigger a notification. For example, the team calendar option cannot be combined with scheduling based on available time.

 

Set-up / Implementation Time

Perform the following steps to use this functionality:

  • Add the new fields to the page layout of the Appointment Type object

  • Assign permissions via permission sets:

  • Users: read access

  • Administrators: read and write access

  • Add the value 30 to the picklist Start Moments (API value: 30, description: Every 30 minutes)

  • Configure the settings per Appointment Type
