Employment Contract mandatory

In some cases, it is mandatory for Candidates to have an active Employment Contract before time can be registered. MSW June Release 2025


Who is this feature for

For users who want to ensure that time registration is only possible for Candidates with a verified Employment Contract.

Benefits of this feature

  • Ensures compliance with internal or legal rules

  • Prevents time from being logged without a valid Employment Contract

  • Adds control per Business Unit


What has changed?

A new checkbox setting, ‘Employment Contract Required’, has been added to the Business Unit configuration. When this setting is enabled, Candidates cannot register time unless they have a current Employment Contract with the status ‘Checked’.

Note: This restriction does not apply to Placements that have a Supplier assigned. These are typically Candidates hired via third parties or freelancers, for whom an employment contract is not required.
