Document Type Improvements

A unified, intuitive document list with clear badges and filters for signing and approval. F108787 | 2026-05

Introduction

Previously, the Document List component lacked visual cues for document properties and had inconsistent user interfaces between the upload and generation contexts. This update introduces a unified, intuitive design that provides immediate insight into document requirements such as signing methods and approval workflows.

Who is this feature relevant for?

  • Recruitment Consultants
  • System Administrators
  • Back-office Employees

Benefits at a glance

  • Improved usability with auto-focus on search and keyboard navigation support.
  • Enhanced visibility of document properties through clear status badges.
  • Consistent user experience across both document generation and upload tasks.

Feature explanation

The Document List component has been redesigned to provide a more efficient workflow for users managing documents. The modal interface now automatically focuses on the search bar upon opening, allowing for immediate filtering, and supports closing via the Escape key or by clicking outside the modal area. To reduce clutter, document types that do not have an associated template are now automatically hidden from the generation list.

To provide better insight at a glance, document types now display specific badges indicating their configuration, such as PDF generation, digital signing methods like MySign or CM Sign, and whether DataChecker or standard approvals are required. New toggle filters have been added below the search bar, enabling users to quickly narrow down the list based on these specific signing and approval properties.

The Upload Document modal has been updated to match the Generate Document modal, ensuring a consistent look and feel across the application. This includes new badges and filters, updated font styling for better readability and a standardized header. These changes ensure that users have all the necessary information to select the correct document type regardless of the task they are performing.
