DataChecker extensions for residence sticker, work permit and transaction report

Optimisations for processing DataChecker documents for residence permits, work permits and transaction reports. F102629 | 2026-03

Introduction

With this extension of the DataChecker integration, the processing of residence permits, work permits and transaction reports is further improved. This makes it easier for organisations to verify whether candidates are entitled to work, and documents can be used more effectively within checklists and automations.

Who is this feature relevant for?

  • This feature is relevant for organisations that use the DataChecker integration for identity and Right to Work checks via SecureIDLink.
  • Organisations that work with international candidates in particular will benefit from the improved document processing and extended support for residence and work permits.
  • Functional administrators and application administrators can also use these documents more easily in checklists, flows and validations.

Benefits at a glance

  • Better insight into the candidate's right to work
  • Improved support for Residence Permit Stickers on passports
  • Support for Transaction Reports as an audit document

Feature explanation

Right to Work The Right to Work check has been extended by combining various documents that all serve to determine the right to work. These are now combined under a single DataChecker document type WORK-PERMIT, including validity dates. This makes it easier to combine this with the checklist functionality.

Note: when using this functionality, the dates for the residence permit no longer apply. Please refer to the configuration document for more information.

Residence Permit Sticker support on passport When a passport contains a Residence Permit Sticker, it is now processed as a residence permit. The existing processing of regular passport pages remains unchanged.

Transaction Report as audit document The transaction report sent from DataChecker is now stored as an additional audit document alongside all documents received from the same transaction.

Setup / Implementation time

A number of adjustments to the existing DataChecker configuration are required for this feature. Please refer to the configuration document for further details.
