Bypass Automatic Email for mySign
Enable custom email logic and business labels by bypassing default mySign notifications. F105924 | 2026-05
Introduction
Previously, mySign automatically sent emails for every step of the signing process, which limited the ability to use custom business labels or specialized email logic. While users could attempt to empty template fields to stop these emails, it often resulted in unnecessary interface logs and errors. This feature introduces a dedicated setting to cleanly bypass automatic emails, allowing for fully customized communication flows.
Who is this feature relevant for?
- System Administrators
- Recruitment Process Designers
Benefits at a glance
- Full control over email communication logic within mySign processes.
- Ability to use custom business labels in email templates.
- Elimination of unnecessary interface logs when overriding default templates.
Feature explanation
We have added a new setting to the mySign Custom Settings called Bypass Automatic Email. When this setting is active, the system continues to execute all standard business logic, such as updating dossiers and managing approvers, but suppresses the default email triggers.
This change ensures that no errors are thrown when the system attempts to send a mail that has been bypassed. As a result, administrators can now implement their own custom flows and triggers to handle email notifications, providing greater flexibility in how users and candidates are informed during the signing process.
Set-up / Implementation time
To use this feature, a system administrator must enable the Bypass Automatic Email setting within the mySign Custom Settings. No other configuration is required to stop the default emails.
