Managing Login Sessions and Domain Structure on the Portal

Introduction
Previously, it was not always clear to portal users whether they could extend their login session, which could be confusing when using One Time Passwords. This update gives administrators the ability to hide the 'Stay Logged In' option when this is not desirable. In addition, we have laid the technical foundation for more complex portal structures by adding support for parent portal domains.

Feature explanation
Administrators can now configure per portal domain whether the 'Stay Logged In' option should be shown to the end user. By activating the new setting 'Hide Stay Logged In option', this choice disappears from the login screen. This is particularly useful for environments where temporary sessions are used for security reasons, making the interface better aligned with the actual behaviour of the system.
In addition, portal management has been extended with the ability to create a hierarchy between different domains. Using the new 'Parent Portal Domain' field, a relationship can be established between a specific portal domain and a parent domain. This extension enables Mysolution to more easily inherit or group specific functionalities and settings across multiple domains in the future.

Administrators can configure the new 'Hide Stay Logged In option' within the Portal Domain settings; for setting up domain hierarchies, it is advised to contact your consultant.
