DataChecker RTW checks for different countries
Perform Right to Work checks against specific country rulesets. F105631 | 2026-05
Introduction
Previously, Right to Work (RTW) checks via Datachecker were limited to a single default ruleset, making it difficult for customers operating across multiple countries to verify candidates against local regulations. This update introduces country-aware RTW checks, allowing recruiters to select the appropriate ruleset for the country where the candidate will work.
Who is this feature relevant for?
- Recruiters at international staffing agencies
- System Administrators
Benefits at a glance
- Support for multi-country Right to Work compliance within a single environment.
- Real-time feedback in screen flows when using new synchronous actions.
- Future-proof country selection that works with new Datachecker rulesets without requiring software updates.
Feature explanation
The integration with Datachecker has been enhanced to support the rtwType parameter, which determines which country's ruleset is applied during a check. Recruiters can now trigger checks for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom by providing the corresponding country code. When new countries are added by Datachecker, they can be used immediately by entering the new code in the system configuration.
To support different workflow needs, we have introduced new synchronous actions for both ID and RTW checks. These are ideal for use in screen flows, as they can immediately report success or failure back to the recruiter. The existing asynchronous actions remain available for bulk processing and record-triggered flows, ensuring full backward compatibility for existing setups.
For international checks like those in the UK, specific details such as work permit conditions are now captured and stored in the document notes. This ensures that important compliance information is retained and visible to the recruiter, even for rulesets that differ from the standard Dutch process.
Set-up / Implementation time
Administrators must update their Salesforce flows to use the new actions or the optional country input. Additionally, each country ruleset must be activated by Datachecker on the customer card before it can be used.
