We frequently get questions about how our release process works. To provide more clarity, we have created an overview of the different types of releases.
Below is a short FAQ in which we explain what to expect with a new Release, Quality Update or Hotfix.
New release

Major technical or functional changes. Different operation of components or new look.

But also new laws and regulations (compliance).

Includes all changes from (additional) Quality Updates and Hotfixes.

2 to 4 weeks test time for customer.

Planned and documented in release calendar.

3 times a year for MSR and MSF

Quality Update

Bugfix and/or maintenance release and feature enhancements

Contains all changes from the Hotfixes.

If necessary, this update includes new laws and regulations

- MSW does not have Quality Updates yet.
